Some people will say that this author's argument is over-simplified, and maybe it is to a certain degree. But he really did boil it down to the essential elements. The corrupt egotistical DC swamp creatures (including the media) couldn't stand Trump and so he had to go (by any means necessary).

He wasn’t willing to ensure the power broker continuance in Washington.

That’s it.

He exposed all of them, even after he left office the veils continue to drop and expose the hidden ugliness.

It’s really simple actually. Trump is hated by the swamp because he wants to stop policies like open borders and unfair trade that are making the corporate-political complex rich.

He showed the world what the DC swamp really was.

Corrupt and incompetent.

Like Toto pulling back the curtain on the Wizard of Oz, Trump pulled back the curtain on the Wizards of The Swamp.

President Trump proved how deep and wide the swamp goes. The deep state is much more than elected officials.

I also firmly believe that as he kept forcing the ChiComs to ‘play by the rules’ of the various trade pacts, and their economy started cratering, their coffers opened ever wider, to buy off the media and the pols even more. Their dislike of PDJT was magnified by ChiCom bribes, to push even harder to defeat PDJT. Just my opinion.

I always get a laugh out of he was not presidential but crude and rude.

So dear kind old Joe is their idea of presidential?

Polite, considerate, thoughtful in speech?

Demonstrates how a president should pinch a young girl’s nipple?

Demonstrates how a president should graft every one in sight?

Well as the old folks say, the dim’s chickens are coming home to roost. Just hope that they don’t do a Vichy France with the Chinese before we can be rid of them in the next election.

It is a real danger.

“He put America first”

Do that when it comes to the world stage, and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord (which Trump might do), and that solves most of our problems. Putting America first simply will not do for the ruling elite. Their goal is the world. The whole world. That’s why they cannot leave anyone alone. Ever.

With a few exceptions, pretty much everyone in dc gets to the point where they are there for the power and fortune. It’s a closed society that exists mostly for the mutual benefit of its low performing members.

When he arrived, Trump already had wealth and the confidence that comes from his already earned personal power. What’s more, Trump didn’t mind using those for the betterment of all Americans instead of just for the betterment of the dc clique.

As such, he had to be eliminated. He is a threat to everything the dc establishment stands for.

“...over-simplified...”

I find this (the use of the word ‘over-simplified’ problematical in this kind of context. And I’m not accusing you nor the author of anything. Not even of over-simplifying your over-simplification.

What the hell is wrong with a simple explanation of some phenomenon? Is this rejection of ‘simple’ something we have learned; perhaps by some sort of conditioning? Do we need Harvard and Yale professors to develop complex, uber-nuanced theories? Otherwise we are unsophisticated rubes, marked by our embrace of ‘simple’? Do (or don’t) we see that time and time again, the development of these so-called sophisticated theories is nothing but self-adulation, another way for libs to place themselves on that pedestal of superiority....just as they do with morality? It’s their greater good (that you and I don’t get) that killed the tens of millions of people this last century. It’s their embrace of global warming, again, that you and I cannot or refuse to understand, that places them on the superior, more sophisticated pedestal. It’s CRT that places them on the higher pedestal of human understanding that makes you and I the racists. Not just the racists, the dumb racists.

No; the over-simplifications are the endless parade of liberal bumper-stickerisms; “standing up for the little guy”... “making sure that every vote counts”...”making sure every child gets a proper education”...”working to assure inclusivity” of everyone, of every class, everywhere. This makes them the saviors of mankind, and you and I the bigots. If only we were as sophisticated as they obviously are, there’s no way we’d hold our views. We’re just too stupid to comprehend the nuances, we’re lucky they let us live instead of turning us into organic garden fertilizer, which would be a better use for us rubes. (We don’t quite understand that, either)

Was or is there a sophisticated explanation for how the Clintons amassed their fortune? Yeah, there was. It was because once there was no US asset they couldn’t get their hands on and sell off for grift to any party as long as they were paid, the sky was the limit. And where did Biden and co. learn their craft?
