KABUL —Groups of armed Afghans attacked the Taliban on Friday, driving Afghanistan's new rulers out of three northern districts, the first assault against the Islamist militants since they swept into Kabul last week and seized control of the government.
...“We have ignited something that is historic in Afghanistan,” said Sediqullah Shuja, 28, a former Afghan soldier who took part in Friday’s uprising. “Taliban fighters had armored vehicles, but people threw stones at Taliban fighters and drove them out.”

This is the Washington Post but it reads like the Babylon Bee.
Maybe many of the 300,000 afghans we trained are realizing that they’re going to die anyway, and so maybe having second thoughts about dropping their rifles and running away. Maybe choose to fight instead. I hope they do.
At least the resistance will die with more honor than we will have as we allow the Left to screw us.
The Afghan Vice President is up in the Peshmir province 100 clicks away from Kabul raising a resistance army. They already have about 6,000 fighters and the Taliban do not hold that province.

Little late for that.
Get them before they get you. Many of the Taliban are not wearing helmets or body armor and are not in armored vehicles. Take advantage of the chaos and pick off as many as you can.
The success or failure of allied efforts in Afghanistan may depend on whether it was enough time to influence the culture in a beneficial way.
