No one in this administration is going to resign. They would have to be physically forced out, and no one on the right has the spine for that.
After wringing as much info out of them as we could, all the Guantanamo prisoners should have been brought before a drumhead courts martial, found guilty of terrorism and being an unlawful combatant, and shot.
Why don't we win? We because our elites don't believe in our values enough to enforce them. There's no reason why the protection of the laws of war should have been afforded to any combatant we have faced since 1945. Our elites prefer to demonstrate their false magnanimity with our lives, our safety, and our livelihoods.
