Lin Wood said in an interview that he "got played". He swallowed the poison pill (basically the Dominion algorithm allegations) and spit it back out a little late. Powell was already poisoned with the Venezuela allegations.

Those served their purpose which was to distract from the wide scale fraud of harvesting, alteration, multiple counting and all the various fraudulent ballots (unfolded mail-in, verified dead voters, verified moved voters, etc)

There were several of us who were saying the same exact thing at the time. That Lin Wood and Powell were willing/unwilling pawns that served to distract from very real questions and instead have people dedicate time and resources towards wild-goose chases and silly conspiracies. Unfortunately FR had already been contaminated with group think and a love of conspiracy, and there was wide preference for the nonsense Lin Wood and co were peddling over what should have been a hard and serious focus on real and serious concerns. People got played.
