This is the man who supposedly received a record-breaking 81 million votes (with the fewest total counties). Everyone knew that this senile old man was not up for the job. (TBH, this is elder abuse.) Then his handlers had him pick an equally incompetent VP as an insurance policy. We are in a lose-lose situation.
The left is framing this as extreme empathy, something valuable in a leader.

In Lara Logan’s latest report, she interviews the top Taliban guy and can’t get him to disavow Al Qaeda and goes on to tell him why she thinks he’s BSing and dancing around the answer. She says she’s been to places where Taliban and Al Qaeda were working together. Erik Prince told Tucker that he’s seen guys that were in the Taliban for a couple of years and then in Al Qaeda for a few and then in ISIS for a few.
It’s all the same basic ideology. They all want to kill all infidels and rule the world under Sharia/Caliphate.

I don’t understand the logic of Biden invoking Trump’s deal with the Taliban. Did Trump break the deal? No. How is Trump responsible for the carnage and chaos at the airport? He isn’t. It is such a juvenile, feeble attempt to shift responsibility and further proof that Biden is a senile old man reverting to childhood fantasies.
A leader is supposed to project strength and an image of being in command at all times. Especially during the worst of times. Biden is sending a message of extreme weakness to the rest of the world.
I thought he had stroked out. Notice how they pulled the microphone from Doocy after his initial question.
Biden cannot be allowed to get away with constantly using Trump’s negotiations with the Taliban as an excuse for anything regarding Afghanistan.
There was no treaty made with the Taliban.
Trump’s negotiations with the Taliban was no more legally binding on Biden than was Obama’s deal with the Mullahs of Tehran binding on Trump - which was zero.
Biden had all the authority he needed to adopt 100% his own withdrawal process and timetable, and quite apparently he did.

We are talking about a Joe Biden, who spent his first 100 days (and more) reversing every single President Trump EO, policy, rule, agreement etc that he could lay his hands on.
If Dementia Joe thought President Trump's decision to pull out of Afghanistan was not good, why didn't he pull out of it?
I would normally feel compassion for an old man whose mind is going. That man would be in a setting from which he would be unable to inflict harm. He might hurl deprecations at the staff as they change his bedpan, but he would not be able to hurt anyone.
That is not the case. He refuses to leave office. The vast majority of democrats refuse to make him leave. He has caused great harm to the people of the country he rules.
I have no compassion for him.
