The decision to proactively abandon Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan will do down as one of the most consequential choices the United States military has ever made.

Our inept military leadership said to keep Bagram open, but Biden ignored that sound advice
I’m just an amateur, armchair general - but look at Kabul on Google Earth - Kabul is a a dumbbell-shaped valley, with Bagram and some fertile land to the north, and Kabul in a smaller basin in the south. The whole thing is surrounded by very high mountains.
It should be pretty obvious to anyone that once you give away Bagram, Kabul is completely cut-off and surrounded.

I had to read to the end of the PJ commentary to get to the meat of this story. Namely,——

Let it sink in folks. Biden shut down a heavily armored airbase on July 5th and within weeks the terrorists took over the country and people have been killed and Americans have been left to their fate.
The question is why did the Biden Administration actually give away the most effective weapon we had to control Afghanistan - Bertram?? We abandoned the field in the middle of the night and the Afghan commander had no knowledge until he awoke the next morning. And found the Americans gone. Bertram should have been the last stand, not first surrendered. Bertram was the crown jewel of our operations.
If a general gave to the enemy the battle plan, he would be charged with treason and executed.
Lucky for us, none of these items will ever show up on our streets here in the USA. Right? Bueller, Bueller.

Unless the USA military is charged with funding a large amount of terrorism against the USA— something I would personally find next to unbelievable— then the next explanation would be that the money was part of a clandestine illegitimate payoff (perhaps graft; the big money deals there apparently being heroin and armaments, although one can only hope not human trafficking) and it got inadvertently caught up in the Afghan pullout drama. And if so, the money trail should logically lead to a Biden family member. How any Biden family member can wake up and look in the mirror without vomiting is beyond me...
