OMG how horrible. They could be just left without food or water in that heat in their carriers. The freakin’ muzzlimes will torture and kill them. Whoever was responsible for leaving them behind, please die NOW. As painfully as possible.
Last I heard it was ordered that their cage doors be left open so they could “fend for themselves”.
