Live news scanner just reported four people called for rescue in their basement homes all died before the NYPD or NYFD could get them out the water came up to ceiling level in under 2 min they died while on 911 tragic. NYC just set it’s all time record of rainfall in 12 and 24 hours. Cars floating in 3 of 5 boroughs, total shutdown and flooding of subway active rescue of trapped subway passengers. This is going to be worse than Sandy by a long shot. For those who don’t oppose twitter there’s hundreds of videos of five foot plus deep water all over NYC

I believe that more people have died from Ida in each state that it passed over, than died in Louisiana where it came ashore.
Hurricanes are natures way of water (and wealth?) redistribution.
Wish we could get some of that water out west.
