Former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama and The Poor People’s Campaign will receive the Freedom Award from the National Civil Rights Museum in Tennessee, the museum said.
The awards, which recognise “significant contributions to civil and human rights”, will be presented in a virtual ceremony on Oct. 14 to Obama and campaign leaders Reverend William Barber and Reverend Liz Theoharis, the museum said on Wednesday.
Obama, a lawyer and a writer, became the first Black first lady when her husband Barack Obama took office in 2009. She will also be inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in October.
Based in Washington D.C., The Poor People’s Campaign works to fight systemic racism, poverty and ecological devastation, the museum said in a statement.

She faced sniper shots in Bosnia seeking a peace treaty (No, that was an exaggerated Hillary Clinton claim proved false). She was the first female to fly around the world (No, that was Amelia Earhart). She was an ambassador to the UN fighting for democratic freedom in other countries (No that was Madeline Albright). Okay, then what did she do constructive?

The left always give each other awards, which is why those are meaningless now. And it proves that ‘museum’ isn’t about actual freedom and gives awards to those who want to take that away from us all. The left always does the opposite of what they claim, like that antifa guy who just lost his teaching job. I saw an article over at 100percentfedup about a second, “CA Teacher Flippantly Removed US Flag From Classroom Suggesting Students Pledge Allegiance To Rainbow Flag – Now She’s Been Removed As Well”, so give that a look.
