As usual, the NYT is dead wrong on all counts. Biden never was “popular”, respected or “well liked”. He’s always been a dolt, on the wrong side of every national security issue and foreign policy stance. He’s always been known to be a liar, pedophile, plagiarist, thief and on the take.
At least in the eyes of any thinking American who has paid even scant attention to the workings of the Senate and the House.
He was popular among blacks, largely because he was Obama's Veep. Enthusiastic black voters gave Biden his key primary wins.
Sanders had white Bernie Bros and AOC socialists, Warren appealed to Hilary's Pumas, and Buttigieg had a niche following among progressive elitists. And nobody liked Harris.
But it's true that, apart from blacks, Democrats didn't actually like Biden. They merely hated Trump.
Yes, go with it. NyT just think how bad Joe Biden is if he has already lost a good portion of those 80 million(sarc) votes he garnered in that election. I mean the voters of this land are smart and know when someone is doing a bad job. I mean if they were smart enough to vote for him.. you know like 80 million (sarc) then they are smart enough to know when he is not doing his job. Looks like we need to get rid of him and go with the previous President who got more votes the second time around.
