The main objective of Pakistan is to continue stirring up problems with India. They are stuck in the thinking of Zia-ul-Haq, not only with respect to Islam but as well for relations with China. However, the takeover of Afghanistan will instigate more Jihadist actions by TTP and ISKP into Pakistan. It seems that Saudi no longer is supporting the policies by Pakistan, instead they are replaced by Turkey, but they have no money.

The long term consequences are difficult to estimate, but sooner or later India and Pakistan need to talk.
