Matt Salmon ran in 2002 and lost to Janet Napolitano. He had his chance and lost.
So does the AZ GOP have only fake Republicans running? Not surprising if so.
(BTW I”m not so sure a pol losing a race 20 years ago is itself a reason to vote against him.)
