Republican California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder had eggs thrown at him while walking in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Elder was walking through the Venice neighborhood with members of his campaign team when the attack happened.
Videos of the incident show a first egg flying through the air and nearly hitting Elder. A member of Elder's team is then seen putting his arm on the candidate's back and saying: "We're getting egged from behind."
Shortly after that, someone threw a second egg towards Elder and his team. It is unclear from the videos if Elder was hit by any eggs.
Multiple people also became physically aggressive towards Elder's team, including a woman in a gorilla mask who appeared to slap a staffer in the face.

As evidenced when Obama tried to throw out the first pitch, gay men throw like girls and are not very accurate. Elders was never in any real danger.

Notice how when she was approached she started to yell which was followed by the rest of the agitators engaging the member of Elder’s staff....
The way this stops is the agitators getting the shit beat out of themselves.....until people standup to these idiots it will continue, in the meantime it will be ugly but you have to confront these people...

Perhaps but I think she was wearing a mask to cover her face to avoid being identified by police...This wasn’t spontaneous given how her followers reacted....there was coordination among a number of people there..
Ya gotta love the LA area, they’re full of these types.
Some of those Elder people thought they could reason with them, until the started punching them in the face. Elder jumped in the vehicle and hauled azz.
