“The federal government needs to stop trying to run private businesses,” Abbott spokesperson Renae Eze said in a statement. “Texans and Americans alike have learned and mastered the safe practices to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID, and do not need the government to tell them how to do so.”

I DDon’t think a President has the constitutional authority to tell a business what to do unless there is legislation.

This is simply a power grab. CONGRESS SHOULD STEP IN AND FILE LEGISLATION TO PREVENT THIS. Call your Senator and Congressman to block this unconstitutional mandate.

I’m calling my Congressman now. We will continue to lose our freedoms if we allow this.

This passage from the article is radically different than what I think I heard Biden say:

"Less than half of Texans have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Nationwide, that percentage stands at about 53% — a figure that has frustrated the Biden administration in light of the widespread availability of free vaccine doses."

Yep, starting to sound like Venezuela with this and going after the “ meat profiteers”.

Pretty pathetic.

The article says that Biden CAN mandate this, based on the following 1905 Supreme Court ruling:

“It is within the police power of a State to enact a compulsory vaccination law, and it is for the legislature, and not for the courts, to determine”

While I’m not too crazy about this ruling, it seems to say that a Fascist governor (like Newsom), with approval of the legislature, can force vaccinations on its people.

So where does this guy get off claiming that the FEDERAL government has this power too?

Also from the article:

"There’s legal precedent in Biden’s favor that establishes the federal government’s authority to mandate vaccinations, said Larry Stuart, a Houston employment lawyer — pointing to a 1905 Supreme Court case in which the justices ruled that states could enforce mandatory vaccinations against smallpox."

You are right, Congress would need to repeal OSHA mandate. Good luck with a Democrat run house and Senate and the big guy could veto the legislation triggering a need for a veto proof majority in both houses. The USSC will likely uphold the OSHA aspect of the EO given that their charter is occupational health and safety. The option for weekly testing is key that is the fair alternative to taking the vaccine and almost certainly will stand USSC review. The unspoken part is that with weekly testing tens of thousands will be sent to 10 days of quarantine affecting the profitability of said business. In right to work states there will be a powerful incentive to end the employment of those employees most likely to be forcibly quarantined. In a right to work state your employment can be ended at the pleasure of the employer for any cause at any time unless under some employment contract which is not present by default in right to work states.

Now we know why the CDC changed the definition of "vaccine".

The old definition included the word immunity, which this jab certainly does not.

Biden is clearly behaving like a dictator... WAY out of his authority, duties and responsibilities. The general government is subjugated under the states and their legislatures! The Federal government cannot make decrees, issue mandates; make whimsical dictates or enforce arbitrary will!

Federal government has only the authority to enforce federal law! Legislation that was passed by congress and signed into law by the president!

Biden is a jack-a$$ tyrant channeling Stalin along with his Bolshevik administration and dictatorial DOJ. These bozo’s are out of control!

“vaccinations against smallpox.”

Do you, or anyone, know the difference between small pox, mumps, measles, etc and corona viruses?

Let me know when you do know the difference.

BS - We are a right to work state which just means that we are not compelled to join a union. We have unions and union members here, we simply do not have to join them to get a job.

I've actually worked for a company that only had 4 union members, but we abided by the Teamsters contract for all employees.

Vaccines began in 1798.

1798 General vaccine programs against cowpox instituted in the US.

1801 First widespread experimentation with vaccines begins.

1802 The British government gives Edward Jenner £10,000 for continued experimentation with ‘smallpox vaccine.’ The paradigm that vaccines provide ‘lifetime immunity’ is abandoned, and the concept of ‘re-vaccination’ is sanctioned.

1822 The British government advances Edward Jenner another £20,000 for ‘smallpox vaccine’ experimentation. Jenner suppresses reports which indicate his concept is causing more death than saving lives.

History repeats itself nicely.
