China has already announced they won’t accept a relation where the two countries cooperate in some areas and “compete” in others. IOW, get rid of all the anti-Chinese measures taken under Trump, or you get nothing from us on climate.
Early on it looked like what I feared would happen wouldn’t. But it now seems more and more possible that Biden, Kerry et al. will sell out the geopolitical interests of the U.S. for a few climate baubles.
