yes, this is disorienting - but I suspect another instance of deep state in-fighting. Of course the left would be going bananas had Trump done this. It looks like a very tragic case of a Biden tough-guy move in response to all the criticism over the botched withdrawal.

Fire all 43 4 star admirals and generals and REVIEW closely for OBAMABOTS all 1’s, 2’s and 3 star flag officers!
Then fire the entire Justice Department, including the FBI, and rehire. Please don’t try to “Hannitize” the vast majority of the “rank and file’ folks in these departments. Not even ONE has come forward to blow the whistle on the ROT and corruption AND stink at these agencies.
Surprised the NYT investigated at all, but more surprised at all the ‘inside’ info they were given. The people on the inside who leaked info must be angry about the handling of the withdrawal.
Makes you wonder if the NYT main interest/purpose is getting Harris to be president.

Pretty soon, he won’t be answering any questions or speaking at all. He’ll just sit there with a microphone hiding his mouth, and the pre-recorded message will come out over the PA system. It’ll be like that old Star Trek episode. But late stage dementia sufferers don’t just stand there staring blankly. They babble and gesticulate wildly. When that happens, he’ll be replaced by a store mannequin capable of standing up and shaking hands of dignitaries.
