California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) could sign a new bill making California’s “temporary” system of automatically sending vote-by-mail ballots to every registered voter in the state permanent, whether he is recalled in Tuesday’s election or not.
The bill, AB 37, would make the emergency measures adopted in 2020, and later extended in February 2021, permanent. It has already passed both houses of the California state legislature, and merely awaits Newsom’s signature. He could sign it today; he could also sign it in the interim before the results of the recall election are certified Oct. 22, even if he is ousted.

I live in Colorado, after vote by mail was made law, fewer and fewer Republican wins. Just saying.
Every ballot with a little window to see how they voted.
Please note: holes in mass mailed envelopes that are to be automatically opened and contents removed may serve a practical purpose; however, the printing so things can be seen through those holes is another matter.
Can’t be told you’ve already voted if you can’t go to the polling place.
If he wins the recall, he & the Dims will be further emboldened to do whatever they want. In their minds it will be a validation of their policies & themselves in general.
Just saw a clip of Newsome saying....”We got rid of Trump but we didn’t get rid of Trumpism!” and he was angry.
No if about it.
That’s the ultimate goal of HR-1 - make elections irrelevant so Democrats are beholden to no one besides themselves and their mega donors. If no one’s held accountable anymore, what’s the point of elections.
People may have to find other ways of dealing with Newsome.
Oh I have great reservations he’ll be booted. Lots of money pouring in in the millions to keep him seated. And they already know very well how to rig any election. These are terribly vile people who will do anything to stay in office and keep their power.....the enemy of mens souls has a stronghold on California for every vile thing is sparked there. He’s not going to let it go without using every trickery needed....only God can turn this tide.
So, go ahead and do it, DEMs. No one is going to stop you.
Just don’t believe there’s enough will of the citizens....nor that many care either way this goes.
If they remove our "ballot box" option, there is only one option left....
Many Californians who would have voted to recall Newsom have already left the state permanently.
California...and frankly the US in general....needs a Jesus to clear the thief and corruption out of all governance like He did the Temple.

Well we’ve watched California go into the dumpster for a long time.....it’s like a glorified Mexico. I have friends living there that say it feels like they’re area is more Mexicans and Latinos than anything that once looked like California.
The only way to stop this is for everyone to do vote by mail, many, many times. Send in 50 million mail in ballots...to so overwhelm the state that this might end. Send in 100 million...200 million...
