A casual hypothesis tossed out there, and BOOM! The whole conspiracy is back and dressed up in garish “detail”, most of which is spurious. Now there may very well BE a conspiracy, and a well orchestrated one at that, but this sensationalist reporting tends to discredit the whole investigation.
Fear and intimidation work practically every time they are applied with sufficient force. At least on the short term.
