Worse than that, actually. The suppressor ‘ban’ provides them with an extremely useful tool to use against guns.
1. Liberal arsehats move into an area around a range.
2. Said arsehats complain about the loud noise of the range.
3. Since it is not possible to get a suppressor in a short amount of time (or in some states, at all), why, the range just has to keep making loud noises.
4. Arsehats use noise to get range closed down.

After decades of trying, a range was finally sited in my County. It’s next to the dump. No noise complaints that I know of.
I vaguely remember when Glock first came out with a polymer frame, democrats tried to prevent them from being sold claiming they could not be seen on airport x-ray machines........LOL!

Becaue there is not a politician in DC that would not be happy to see the citizenry completely disarmed!

Those “elected” to office should educate themselves as to the concerns of the majority of their constituents. Failing this, they are now deemed ignorant and/or compromised and must be jettisoned at the first opportunity. The Repukes have failed US on so many levels with most of the blame lying at our very own feet for not thoroughly vetting them to begin with as well as not holding them accountable for their actions/inaction’s.
It appears that most of these individuals are in office for the power, prestige, and money. Serving your fellow man isn’t for the weak-minded and has been more or less lost.

Silencer regulations absolutely make no sense. Especially since you can have an air rifle with a silencer, without any red tape. And now there are .50 caliber air rifles. Oh, and you can also have a silenced black powder rifle, unregistered.

Yeah reading comments on here day after day where the commenter equates Republicans with conservative makes you want to beat your head against the wall.
Even on “FreeRepublic” the vast majority haven’t accepted the fact that the ruling class elites have no interest except to maintain power and influence for themselves at any cost.
To not understand that Democrats vs Republicans is about as real as WWE “wrestling” is mind numbing.
The elites stole a presidential election. There was virtually no push back, yet everyday on here you will read “once we take the house back after the mid terms”.
When government takes away any Liberty they never never never give it back.
