Maybe the left is creating a multiple choice method of voting. Forget a YEA/NAY (binary) vote where voting “present” adds to the majority vote. Maybe we need more choices, many gradations, you know, like the many genders they invented. Vote present but really mean no, vote yes in protest to others voting yes, vote maybe, vote yes but don’t allow it to count, vote yes and no at the same time, surgically remove the finger you use for the button, have an ambiguous vote where no one can tell what you want.....you get the picture.

This piece of trash had been threatened so many times, by her own twisted accounts, that she should be in witness protection.

Every thing this woman says is about how endangered she feels. All the time.

As an armed, trained and sensible American I’m so glad I don’t live in her worthless world.

This is rich.

AOC is blaming others for her lack of judgment. And now even her base is seeing the farce for what she is.

How can a bill be “controversial” when the vote is 420 to 9, you moron?

AOC may need to look up the definition of controversial.

Oh wait, she probably has by now.

She beautifully pissed off both sides of this issue by speaking against it and then not voting either way.

My $$ says she still gets re-elected and one day is Speaker of the House. Why? Because its the worst case scenario.

I seem to remember when Trump won in 2016 the young Turks were bell bent on finding commies for congress. That’s how we got the squad. Evidently they placed ads and several folks auditioned. AOC was one of them. They picked specific districts to start in to get a foothold.

On of the funniest things on YouTube are the videos of Steven Crowder mocking The Young Turks.

I have admittedly not followed this particular bill but, iirc, the move to defund the Iron Dome was buried in the giant bill until someone noted it and controversy began. At that point, Congress couldn’t hide it and needed to make a strong statement in support of Israel or face their angry constituents. So a stand-alone bill was put forth and most of Congress jumped at the chance to burnish their Jewish bona fides. The reason AOC cried is because she was forced to take a public stand and she couldn’t afford to offend her own Jewish constituents and her radical base, not to mention Schumer’s constituents who she wanted to support her in the future. She couldn’t publicly vote yes or no so had to vote “Present” as the lesser of three evils. She’s an opportunist, a cynical politician, a stupid one and a coward at that.

AOC, like others, are having their own veneer stripped down. Their main objectives are now becoming apparent. This is good.

Another example, and another female, is Kamala.

You've got to be a tough nut to withstand the political arena. Neither of them are.

Unfortunately, my two examples are women. One woman I admire is Condolezza Rice.

Indeed on Condolezza Rice....though I don’t always agree with her take on matters I do highly respect her opinions as she is not reckless about where she stands.

I despise anyone, but particularly politicians, who insist we must support them because they check off a favored box. And my disgust increases every time they invoke that status to shield themselves from criticism. I, unfortunately, live in California and I remember the very day hubby and I signed papers to purchase a house so we could move to California was election day 1992 when Barbara Boxer was elected senator for the state. I was appalled that her victory speech centered on how women would now have a voice in Congress. She was elected to represent all Californians, not just female Californians but you wouldn’t know it from her speech. It has only gotten worse since then. And women are especially illustrative of the old maxim, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”

worst case scenario.

I'm with you there just looking at recent history. RINO Ryan on our side, and Pelosi and Schumer on their side. On the Senate side we have so many loser RINOs I am not sure it makes any difference who is their leader.

Most politicians, and almost ALL liberal politicians believe this to some extent. The erroneous idea that they can be greater than everyone else by being in elected office is a huge aphrodisiac for the narcissists who seek political office. They favor anything that increases their control and stature.

...faced widespread condemnation across the political spectrum on Friday after she attempted to explain why she voted “present” for a bill that would have provided Israel with funding for a missile defense system that protects them for Palestinian terrorist attacks.
She voted that way because she hates the Jews. And her "victim" status? She blames the Jews for that, too. As a consequence, she'll have no problem making up with the rest of The Squad.

I do not think she’s from the Bronx. Born there but left at a young age to Yorktown Heights
True, when she was born her parents lived in the Parkchester Apt Complex, kinda like a Trump Towers for the middle class. Hardly the "Bronx tenement" she bragged about growing up in. Her parents moved to Yorktown Heights when she was very young, they sold their Parckchester condo for a YYYYUUUGGE profit. By then the complex was landmarked because of it's beautiful prewar art deco architecture. Some tenement.
