How can only 55% of the population be vaccinated? I thought it hit higher than that 2 months ago?
They are playing game with words. “fully vaccinated” is their new favorite saying. Which is absurd since they requiring a 3rd shot so the number of “fully vaccinated” must be in 5-10% range now.

They are playing with words but I think in a slightly different way. Reporters are either dumb, lazy, or in the tank (or all three). When they say “55% of the population” they have to be including children in the math. But we all know children are not eligible to receive the vaccine - at least not yet. They should only include eligible people in the math to be fair. Otherwise they’re just playing games either deliberately or from ignorance and laziness.
According to data posted here daily, something like 93% of people over age 65 are vaccinated, and 73% of people over 18 are vaccinated. Maybe some of them are 1 shot only but still... Next, people will have to wear a scarlet letter U.
