That simply is not true. New Zealand’s Prime Minister is very far left and the darling of the liberals around the world and far more repressive. From what we read and see on TV about the USA, it is becoming far more like New Zealand than Australia. For moment, at least, we have a conservative Federal Government and only Victoria is about as leftist as California, New York, and many more far left states in the USA. I don’t understand why Americans are throwing stones at Australia when you have people like Biden, Harris, Kerry, terrible leftist military leaders, all the progressive left people in Congress that are running your country. And you are becoming even more of a police-state with the FBI raiding people’s home just for trespassing and holding them in jails.

Granted I was being a bit facetious, but that being said.......You have allowed the govt. to take your guns from you, you have allowed the govt. to lock your entire country down with only a minimal amount of Covid cases and you have allowed the govt. to beat you in the streets for peacefully protesting their actions.
If you consider that is conservative I would certainly hate to see what you would consider liberal.
