My good guess is MeWe’s platform will improve considerably. I’m way too busy to devote time to figuring out the nuisances of MeWe at present, but many former Freepers took to it like a duck to water.

I use MeWe. It’s okay. I use it somewhat differently than f’book. I have a much lower profile. But that’s by choice.

Thanks! I don’t have the time either. MeWe was easy to set up but for some reason not very inviting. So I think I’ll stick with FB for friends and family.

I’m on Ubuntu when I’m not working.
Within the last year I tried out the Brave browser and like it better than FFx and Chrome. Brave is a secure fork off of Chromium that is built you secure your privacy online, and has a compact footprint.
I run it on everything... Win10 work computer, my Ubuntu machine, and my mobile phone.
Maybe give that a try.

using facebook should be prosecuted as a hate-crime.
You have NO excuse for still using it? want to keep up with you kids or grandkids? call them or email them.
If the only interaction you have with your ‘friends’ is on social media, then they are not really your friends at all.
