"Seemingly approached him"? Huber swung his skateboard at Rittenhouse's skull and just missed, before taking a bullet in his deserving gut. Then Grosskreutz raised his arms to appear harmless, but then swung his gun into position to take out Rittenhouse with a point blank headshot. Fortunately Rittenhouse shot him in the arm before he could take the shot, rendering Grosskreutz harmless and sobbing like a sad schoolgirl.
His gun hand was unable to release his hold on the weapon after Kyle “disarmed” him!

Gaige “Lefty” Grosskreutz was quoted shortly after the shooting stating that he wished he had killed Rittenhouse.
Lefty’s felonious past probably won’t be admissible, but that statement might be, if it can be authenticated (my recollection is that a friend visiting him in the hospital was the one quoted by the media).
It’s important to note that Huber likley shot himself when he grabbed the barrel of the AR and tried to yank it out of KR’s hands.
