Kaine: ‘Republicans Ran Up the Credit Card,’ Now Won’t Pay – ‘Nobody Likes that Guy’
Breitbart ^ | 10/06/2021 | Pam Key

Posted on 10/06/2021 11:25:11 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily” that the Republicans’ refusal to raise the debt ceiling limit after they “ran up the credit card when Donald Trump was president” was like the friend who never pays a dinner check.

Kaine said, “I would argue that flirting around with default is unconstitutional, absolutely. I happen to believe that the way we do debt management through a debt limit is foolish.”

Sometimes the truth hurts. How many trillions was Trump tricked into blowing on the scamdemic? He was fine with borrowing every penny of it too.

Kaine is a filthy slurper at the public money hog trough. He shouldn’t talk.

Adoringly ran with Hillary in 2016.
‘Nuff said.

So what’s the deal with mcconnell wanting the dems to raise the dept ceiling using reconciliation? Does it limit what else they can do through reconciliation? Or is mcconnell think it damages the dems somehow by raising the debt ceiling without republicans on board?

Nobody pays for it. That’s one of the problems with merely raising the debt limit. It’s all to destroy the future. R’s and D’s don’t pay for anything.

Default will never happen. Its a scare tactic. The Feds take in $350B every month which covers the debt 8 times over.

He’s using the same improper description of the debt ceiling as some here use.

The debt will be raised.

Treasury Receipts and Expenditures have ZERO Relationship, they are independent acts not linked to each other in any way except for the Rhetoric spewed by politicians and presstitutes

And Pelosi said in 2018, the Republicans were responsible for the debt ceiling not passing because the Republicans controlled all 3 branches

Kaine is one of the most useless Senators.

Must be why Hillary picked him.

About 71% of the Federal budget goes to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Another 15% goes to the military, and 6% is used to pay interest on the debt. None of this was Trump’s idea. This spending has been fixed for at least two decades.
