Show me where this “mandate” is written in law. It’s not and it never will be. The power of Joe Biden’s press conference threat is purely fictional. They can’t make it real because they’re (rightly) terrified it won’t hold up to a court challenge. Someone decided it would work just as well when corporate America, afraid for their favored tax status and bailout money, decided to once again, abuse their employees by threatening them with firings if they don’t get the jab. This way they keep Biden off their back and the taxpayer money keeps flowing to keep the business afloat.

Testing is a fruitless endeavor, it’s not about liking or disliking a test. Far too many are wrong in both directions, saying you have covid as well as not. ...and the results create all kinds of uncertainties and trouble for people.

since vaxxed people can still get it and spread it

why shouldn’t they be tested too?

Stop asking logical questions, comrade.

Employees of those airlines are expected to comply with the rules by Dec. 8.

Yeah, the ones who haven't retired, quit, or been fired...

>> Forced testing is unacceptable.

Agreed, but the “force” factor is the optional alternative to not being employed.

If you believe it’s a half-measure towards tyranny, I agree with that too.

Airlines are federal contractors, which apparently gives the feds the power under those contracts. It’s not connected to the business mandate. At least that’s what I’m hearing from an airline pilot.

IIRC, there's a clause in many federal government contracts where the government can just end the contract at the "convenience of the government". It's probably threatened 4-500 times more than it's ever enacted, and it's also probably the reason why some government contractors end up gleefully performing some shady boundary-blurring activities, like, say, enforcing a vaccine mandate on employees that was never part of the original contract, the employer's conditions for hiring, nor included in any official legal or administrative regulation.

Also, because many employers with federal contracts are "at will" employers, things like not submitting to a company policy, no matter how arbitrary, can become a reason for termination. There are boundaries in law, but I don't know where Covid shots fall under the EEOC complaint process, nor do I have a whole lot of confidence that the government would be willing to agree that discrimination based on vaccination status would be a legitimate EEOC complaint even if it would be so in a more sane world.

Looks like I’ll be flying Spirit. I won’t like it though. As a software engineer I used to work in the airline industry before the Plandemic hit.

In an email Friday, CEO Ted [C]hristie told staff that if they wanted to avoid the upcoming federal vaccine mandates for larger private companies, that they would need to get their vaccines soon [...]

I get it! To avoid the mandate, they have to first comply with the mandate!

Did some "journalist" garble this, or is this genuinely what Christie said?

Regards,

“What are they testing with?”

Probably the simple frontal nasal swab PCR test. Easy-peasy.

But — quite frankly — who cares what kind of test it is so long as they’re placated, not drawing blood, and not forcing the jab?

Take half a loaf.

If you have ever flown spirit airlines, you would rather get the jab and drop dead than fly that airline ever again.

Lol! I'm in complete agreement!

“The federal government has made it clear that COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements will be mandated for companies with more than 100 employees, and we will comply with that order,” Christie said in the email, which was obtained by CNBC.

Who needs laws or a Constitution when the words out of a demented resident hold even more weight, and Ignoramuses like Christie bow down to non existent mandates. Tyranny thru corporations.

Which test is required? the home test? Which “vaccine”? Only one of them is a “vaccine” and not experimental gene therapy. We can get a B-12 shot and call it a “vaccine” by those standards. Not to mention that none of their mandates are FDA approved. What a clusterf*ck, by design.
