Sure, we need more of the kind of people who helped us get in the mess we are in. Christine Todd Whitman should stick to hosting tea parties at the garden club. Remember the society matron who called the Three Stooges “dreadful vagabonds” after they ruined her party? That’s how I picture Whitman reacting to Trump Republicans.

A weak liberal democracy with libertarian leanings never has, and never will, defeat a bolshevik insurgency of the sort that is sweeping to victory all over the country.
Form a party to give people something they want - which does not include tax cuts and foreign wars on behalf of alien peoples - and you will take power.
Fail to do that, and you will have racial socialism, secret police, and communist economics.
Your call - but until the GOP is burned to the groound, the communists will just keep winning.
Turning the GOP into the Free Soil party - ruining it forever and making a laughing stock of it.
