I see only one down side to this...

A lot of things could be happening soon. Worst case? Bill passes, lavish funeral and tributes, then something happens to Biden. He departs from the scene.
Harris is the first woman president and garners enormous goodwill from the world. Harris nominates Hellery as VP who is basking in the sympathy of millions of Americans. Months later the economy is crashing, the market HAS crashed, massive surge in unemployment, inflation roaring, China invades Taiwan etc, and Harris steps down (”for the good of the country”) as the job is just too much for her.
Then...Hillary Clinton is our president!
Welcome to my nightmare. I do have an overactive imagination, so these things could never happen. Right?
