I’ve thought that all along. This whole deal is a set up. It was lead by people like John Sullivan (who I believe was paid by CNN to instigate and capture the money shots) and some unidentified FBI’s.
Nancy had to nix Jordan(claimed he is a material witness although he was not there) and Banks who she claimed had already made up his mind. That is laughable. These two would have asked embarrassing questions and perhaps may have even exposed some truths.
The whole event is part of a master plan to tame any action by Trump supporters that will expose the real conspiracy. It all has worked so far.

You are simply spot on. The oft repeated comparison with the “Reichstag fire” is thus obvious and valid, regardless of the details. I hope this blows up in their laps like so many other Biden-Pelousy actions in the past calendar year. But who knows what is next?
