I can’t imagine electric water heaters are more efficient than natural gas water heaters. cableguymn : Actually they are. None of the heat goes out the chimney.
The heat goes out the chimney at the power plant and the wires heat up on the way to the house.

The amount of gas used for cooking in the home is negligible and is of no consequence to climate change. This is about control. All smart meters have built in cutoffs. Once we are all electric, you will be at their mercy to make even a cup of coffee. This is evil, pure and simple.

At the power plant is before the meter. If the wiring in the house is getting warm you have a problem. Wiring should not be getting hot. It’s to small for the job.
None of the heat produced in the water heater is lost when electricity is used.
