Whatever, these measures seem a little - draconian.
Just because a legislature CAN, does not mean that they SHOULD do something so drastic. I have no idea what Australian legal codes have to say about various expressions of free speech or peaceful assembly, but what the heck, they already took away their guns.
And a command-and-control regime comes and settles in, not on little cat feet, but as a great thumping elephant.
