OLYMPIA, Wash. – More than 125 state troopers have been cut following Governor Jay Inslee’s mask mandate.
Washington State Patrol announced Tuesday morning it “separated” 127 people from employment who were not vaccinated by the Oct. 18 deadline. This included 53 civil servants and 74 officers. The officers include 67 troopers, six sergeants and one captain.
WSP said it has more than 2,200 people in eight districts and the firings are spread across the state.
“As for the more than 2,000 individuals who elected to stay with our agency, I am forever thankful. We have the responsibilities of the agency to carry forward and I am not going to ask you to do more with less. We shall do our very best to keep our remaining staff from becoming overburdened by these temporary losses,” WSP Chief Batiste said.

More euphemisms. “separated” from their employment means fired and lost their jobs and chance of retirement pension.
Replace cops with social workers.
Hope the gentle social workers like their new work such as “de-escalating” an “encounter” with a meth-crazed muscular man in his kitchen threatening an infant and mother with a butcher knife. “Let’s talk about your dysfunctional family childhood. Did your sister get a new bike and you had to take the hand me down one?”
Also, at least in Michigan the state police have been tasked with taking over large areas of jurisdictions in which local budgets were cut and police have to request coverage from the state. Spread much too thin.
Doesn’t that also mean Inslee has fired 127 of his bodyguards?

I left Seattle ten years ago because I saw the writing on the wall. It’s like leaving a cheating wife and finding out ten years later she’s dying of an STD.
i.e. yeah, this confirms (as so many other things have) why it was a right decision to leave that place. Sad, I was born in eastern Washington. I even performed on live TV in 1961.

We have the responsibilities of the agency to carry forward and I am not going to ask you to do more with less.
You may not ask them to do more with less, but they’re going to have to anyway. And when attrition makes those numbers drop even more with no one wanting to backfill those vacant positions, it won’t be a problem for Inslee or any of his pals.

It was determined that, starting some time around 2015/16, every year, there are 5% fewer people able, willing and qualified to go into the military, law enforcement, firefighting/emt fields. Men and women in their 20s, when most folks start in these careers, are more interested in Facebook, Instagram, etc, are obese, have no desire to do those jobs or have a background that precludes them from getting those jobs.

Don’t think for a minute that China, Russia and Iran don’t already know how weak, demoralized and vulnerable our Armed Forces are today....!! I’m sure Chinese military-age youth are not sitting around on their asses playing with their electronic toys, etc...

They all saw what happened in Afghanistan. They see what’s going on along our borders. Our ports. Everything.
While the US, by no measure, has the market cornered on hipster, skinny jean wearing, pajama boys, we certainly have our fair share. If we’re lucky, very lucky, the reason there seems to be so many of them is because they’re the most vocal and prominent, while also not having numbers. Hopefully.
But, we’re living through that old adage.....Tough times create tough men. Tough Men create easy times. Easy times create soft men...or something like that.
Time will tell and the election next year, IMHO, determines EVERYTHING. War, Secession, Depression, widespread violence, who the hell knows.

These failing states, along with the Propaganda Media, used the "Defund the Police" campaign to cut government employee payrolls by slandering law enforcement and blaming it on the very victims in minority neighborhoods that they protected.
The Securities Exchange Commission and the Department of Labor are complicit in this crime, perpetrated to falsely protect Washington State's bond ratings.
I am in WA state. Spoke with a lawyer friend yesterday. He said that the next Exec Order from Inslee is that proof of vaccination will be required for entry to grocery stores within 2 weeks. This will literally be an attempt to starve those who refuse vaccines to death.
Maybe they should just stop guarding him.

And I think it’s because that applying it to grocery stores crosses a HUGE red line in the minds of most human beings. i.e. it could get very ugly very fast.
