Retarded story.
It’s always that expensive and more.
Last year I drove from Gilroy to Cambria to get some chicken at my favorite restaurant Robin’s in Cambria.
Yeah, it’s a long azz drive but, I love the place.
Wasn’t paying attention and needed gas.
Stopped in for gas and it was a bit over $8 a gallon BECAUSE IT IS IN A REMOTE LOCATION and it was another hour to Cambria.
Didn’t feel like hitch hiking for gas either.
They have really good lemon bars and sandwiches there as well and yes, they cost way more than everywhere else....
Views of the Pacific Ocean are stunning.
Great stop on my Hwy 1 drive...
Best to be aware and fill up before setting out. Otherwise Hwy 1 robbery!
Pretty cool you can see this on google maps, looks like a cool place/drive.
Oh stop with that Chamber of Commerce gibberish. Californian has a long history of ripping off tourist. What does it cost for a family to go to DisneyLand nowadays? $800++ a day? ☺
Crescent City is remote, too. Funny, the Indian reservation nearby is about a buck a gallon less remote.
