California has a long history of ripping off tourist who are dumb enough to visit. This is nothing new.
It was a one horse town with no horse.
It was only slightly more expensive in the 1970’s...they had no competition.
A pretty drive in the early 1970’s, and Ronald Reagan was still governor. I miss THAT California. A lot different these days, as you know.
