The Biden administration is expected to name Kim Wyman, the Washington Secretary of State, and the only Republican to hold statewide office on the west coast of the US, to lead the Department of Homeland Security's efforts to "protect future elections from foreign and domestic interference," according to CNN. Wyman previously challenged former President Donald Trump's claims of fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Wyman called the recent audit in Arizona’s Maricopa County as "political theater." According to the outlet, Federal officials have been in negotiations "for weeks" with Wyman to serve as the election security lead for DHS' Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Sources told The Post Millennial that moving pods and shredding services were cited at Wyman's home in August.

If she sets about making sure the election can't be compromised and making it transparent, it would be great.

I don't think we would have had the Arizona audit or any other audits without Trump leading the charge on fraud. And the Arizona audit did show many issues, some of which could very well have overturned the election.
Few of the legal challenges were actually examined for their merits. It's pretty clear that we don't need to count on winning in the courtroom against fraud. We need legislative controls and transparency and penalties up front. That will bolster any legal challenges and quite possibly prevent the need for them.

For one thing, if you believe that Wyman’s going to do ANYTHING to “ensure election integrity”, you are sadly mistaken.
Secondly, it allows Reichsfuhrer Inslee to appoint a full-on Leftist Democrat as Washington’s Secretary of State.
Why not put hillary clinton or stacy abrams in charge of election security?
