Sat under Chomsky while at Tufts. He was occasionally on loan from Harvard and brought his zealotry with him. He was uniquely personable, remembering every student’s name, a skill I never developed. In he prime he was a political thunder clap disguised as a gentle, entertaining intellectual. How he has changed.
