GOP Arizona Senate President Says Cyber Ninjas in Breach of Contract Following Audit
Newsweek ^ | 10/27/2021 | Daniel Villarreal

Karen Fann, the Republican leader of the Arizona state Senate, has said that Cyber Ninjas, the private company commissioned to conduct an audit of Maricopa County's election results, is now in "breach of contract" with the state for not providing audit-related documentation.

In an October 26 letter to Cyber Ninjas and CEO Doug Logan, Fann said that she had previously sent Logan a September 14 letter. In that letter, Fann told the company to submit all its audit-related records to her in order to comply with a court order. Cyber Ninjas only provided 300 records, "an insubstantial percentage of all existing responsive records," Fann wrote.

"Accordingly, Cyber Ninjas' inadequate response to my September 14 request places it in material breach of the (contract) as construed by the court," her letter continued. "The Senate reserves its rights to pursue any and every applicable claim or reemit to enforce the agreement's provisions."

i seem to recall AZ withheld subpoenaed equipment from the auditors. Why is there no recourse for this and now they want to turn it around and blame the auditors?

Of course. Malfeasance and failure are always someone else’s fault.

A letter sent on Sept. 14th and we are just about into November??? R’s have to stop being nice. A letter is not going to work as it will be ignored. They need to fight.

This is the GOP we're talking about. They have been looking for an excuse to move on from this audit, and it appears they've created one (as they always do). The GOP has zero interest in doing anything about election fraud. Zero.

I think I may be seeing this in a different light.

The court ordered the Senate to turn over the records. By writing a letter she is showing that the Senate is trying to comply.
This gives Cyber Ninjas the opportunity to argue that it’s not in the contract and those are “private” company documents.
Which is what the Senate was arguing in the first place.

That, and it’s NewsWeak.

Could be.

Yes, this is from Newsweak. The AZ Rag also had an article about this but it’s a “subscription only” article and I refuse to pay so....I posted the Newsweak article. Not much difference as both are liberal rags.

Yes because his weighing in has gotten so much accomplished in the past year. "Don't worry. We got this"
