Witnesses tried to rescue the girl. They said the fire started slowly and didn’t seem like a big problem at first, but just kept growing bigger. They couldn’t get the doors open and couldn’t cut the seatbelts in time. The single fire extinguisher on hand couldn’t handle the gasoline fire.

When I was 24, I was at a party and a woman I was close to saw my condition, took my motorcycle keys and simply left without my knowing (so I couldn't argue). She told some friends to tell me later. I was at least humble enough to thank her the next day.
Unfortunately this guy's baby mamma seemed complicit.

aww, the poor guy was sobbing on the ground while his girlfriend hugged him...as the woman he murdered with his risk-taking was screaming in agony at being burned alive. Sympathy for him minus zero.

He should get life, no parole.
