The “study” was a survey.

It seems as though a person of color could have sneezed within
20 feet of a woman not of color, and her offspring would be
considered Black.

I guess it depends on how creative or gullible you are.

Smile...

Obama was halfrikan, but that made him seemingly totally
Black. He seemed to loathe the White side of himself.

The BS will stop only when we have a big war and everybody is on a war footing. That’s when societies get serious.

Until then, we have FAR too any highly paid “professors” dreaming up new studies to identify a new aggrieved group or tribe. The professors hire grad students to do the “research” which gets published and creates a whole new cadre of professors to teach the crap to the next generation of young skulls full of mush.

There’s too much money, too little hardship, and too many people pursuing such trash “studies.” It’s the hallmark of a very unserious civilization.

In the name of racial Justice — all White Americans must visit tanning salons weekly mandated by the federal government. OSHA will enforce employers over 100 employees check documents provided by salons $14,000 fine for non compliance. White Americans using sun tan lotion at the beach that inhibits skin darkening arrested and jailed.

If a trend of Latinos voting Republican continues, the Wall will be built. Now comes the onslaught to plant the woke brain worm into as many Latinos as posdible.

It’s a funny thing...I used to work with a biracial (half black / half white) guy. He didn’t tan at all, despite spending a lot of time outside.

I’m black Irish, and in March white as a sheet and by September several shades darker than he was. We used to joke about it every year.

Did anyone else note that they characterize the skin color of those that claim discrimination, but not those that “discriminate”, thereby implying it is evil wipipo that are the culprits?

No kidding.

Just check out how Mexico “works”.

Also in other news, unattractive people are treated worse than attractive people.

“So do blacks in their own families. What’s there to know?”

When my wife was teaching in South Central L.A. the lighter skinned Blacks would call the darker skinned Blacks “Sambos”.

Latinos are guilty too. Lin Manuel Miranda was slammed for "colorism".

Old Spanish royalty. Most of Central and South America are still kind of leftover Euro caste systems.

They never point out the fact that the Mexican ruling class is white

Richard Dana wrote about skin tones in his classic book, Two Years Before the Mast (1840) during his trip to Monterrey, CA. It's an interesting read.

I had a (very) Black E6 work for me in ‘88-90 at Ft Dix. He was single and quite the ladies man. We got a new E6 female in the Bn and she was drop dead gorgeous. One day I asked him why he hadn’t asked her out. “I don’t date anybody darker than me.” he replied. I was dumbfounded and asked if that wasn’t a little Racist? He said he didn’t care if it was, he had his standards and he would stick with them.

This is a fundamental flaw of human nature; it may be built into our DNA. Darkness = Danger. Darkness = Fear. Incredibly, black DOGS are discriminated against in shelters and are therefore harder to get adopted! DOGS!

I once had a charity where I brought teddy bears each week in all skin/hair tones from white to yellow, beige, tan, red/auburn, brown and black. The red-haired bears were always the last to be chosen, by white, black and brown people. The prejudice against redheads is not so prominent in the U.S., but in the UK it is well-known, in spite of a couple of famous "gingers" like Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran. So seeing it exercised unconsciously in the U.S. really surprised me.

I agree with you that "race" may also be a deep-rooted thing, but it may not be color; rather it may be olfactory detection of different DNA. I have often been surprised by how even my pets can distinguish between male and female, and between "strangers" in the house who are my seldom-visiting blood relatives vs strangers entering our "territory" who are not. Even cats can show strong preferences for loving humans who raised them vs. subsequent caretakers.

So this entire "skin color" discussion seems skewed to me. There are behaviors associated with subcultures that continue to drag down the acceptance rate between groups. That the mind associates those behaviors with skin color in the U.S. is at least in part a result of conditioning by experience.
