Sell the rest at an auction. The Windsors can continue to make their own living at the remaining castle they've chosen to reside. Sort of like Biltmore in Asheville, NC. If you want a glass of wine with Prince William, it'll cost you $5,000. For dinner? That'll be $50,000 a plate. Plenty of people will pay for the privilege. No reason for the state to pay for any of it in the 21st Century
