Americans should expect to pay higher costs to heat their homes this winter, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Sunday, a result of high gas prices caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
This is going to happen. It will be -- it will be more expensive this year than last year," Granholm told CNN's Dana Bash on "State of the Union." "We are in a slightly beneficial position, well certainly relative to Europe, because their choke hold of natural gas is very significant. ... But we have the same problem in fuels that the supply chains have, which is that the oil and gas companies are not flipping the switch as quickly as the demand requires."

because Jennifer Granholm is doing a terrible job ,Na , it’s Sabotage
Jenny will not lose a second of sleep as people have to make hard choices and some will unfortunately not make it by freezing or starvation.
What was her first clue?
Just watch the total disaster when they force electric vehicles on everyone
Thanks for the info Secretary Obvious.
I’m ready, willing and able to pay my fair share for heat.
The ONLY reason I might tune into the fake news networks this winter is to see what science/econ challenged (e.g., media and White House clowns) excuse they give for the problems.
But the one thing I am certain of is that their reasons will all be laughably false for those of us who actually know about these things.
Want cheaper and abundant energy?
Get rid of the Dept. of Energy.
And the worst of it is that she says it with a happy grin.
Deliberate
The Biden Admin is full of people taking taxpayer money and doing nothing for it
AND...
Want cheaper and abundant college education?
Get rid of the Dept. of Education.
Get rid of the Dept. of Energy Democrats.
Of corse, Biden shut the gas off.
Doing a helluva good job Biden administration. Shafting Americans while supporting Russian pipelines. We know whose side they’re on. Disgusting!!
Jennifer Granholm should be sent back to Canada where she can stay in an igloo during the Winter.
Let's hop into the Wayback Machine, all the way back to the March 2020 start of the pandemic. Who was president for the first ten months of the pandemic? What were energy prices like in that time period? What happened on January 20 when Joetato took over? Did he sign some executive orders that reduced energy supply? Did he cancel leases and pipelines? Did he discourage oil companies from exploration and production investment?
What a freaking idiot this woman is.
Granholm has bidenized the fuels industry and blown away Trump energy independence. (Bidenize = FUBAR)
