I am pretty sure the majority of supposed hate crimes against blacks were by Hispanics.

Yes,I should have made that clear. If a white guy assaults a black guy...for no good reason (self defense,for example)...and the evidence proved that it did,in fact,happen and there was,in fact,no good reason I'd certainly vote guilty on the assault.

But I don't care if a guy assaults another because he's having a bad day or because the victim was a member of a group/race other than his own.

I remember a New York Post article which said 80% of New York hate crimes were committed by minorities. This article conveniently omits that number.

As an American I have a God given right to hate whomever I choose. If I hurt or damage properly of someone I hurt, I should be tried and convicted for that particular crime. Hate must never be included in that conviction. Hate is my prerogative

But, but, but...Why don’t they put up more ‘Hate has no home here’ signs. They got them up all over where I live. If they don’t deter hate crimes, then what is the point of putting them up?

Re: violence against Asians in LA. Some twenty-odd years ago, I got called for jury selection in LA county. It was a Latino illegal alien gangbanger with neck tattoos and a laundry list of priors who finally shot and killed a Korean grocery store owner during a holdup. After days, they finally put me in the box and I was nervous as hell. When the defense attorney started grilling me, he asked if I would hold prejudice against someone with a list of arrests. I answered yes, even though I had watched previous jurors repeatedly claim no to that question (and get selected). He was stunned into disbelief and asked me three more times to repeat myself. I finally shot back at him, “What? You want me to lie? As far as I’m concerned, if someone comes into a country illegally, there is no other crime they won’t commit. He shouldn’t even be here.” The judge stopped the questioning, called the two attorneys into a side room and after a few minutes, they all came out laughing. Then the judge dismissed me without even a thank you for wasting three days of your time.

I live in LA and the disproportionately targeted numbers don’t look right report to prove it needed.
More older white people most of them women are taking most of the hit.
