Not sure any real Republicans exist there. The current Governor, Phil Scott, calls himself a Republican, and he’s about as “conservative” as other far-left Republican governors in northeastern states (Baker, Hogan, Sununu). Hell, there’s no way Scott could get elected in a place like Vermont *without* being way left of center. Still, he’d have to be an improvement over that dirty bastard Leahy though I doubt Scott will even run.
