This probably has to do with the recent Oklahoma case where SCOTUS threw out a case against an indian who committed a crime on the reservation because the state police did not have jurisdiction there.

Regardless of what you think of that situation, here again, the Biden regime uses an EO to get what congress should be providing.

ONLY the Reservation officials have jurisdiction...PERIOD

OUTSIDE agencies can ASSIST when REQUESTED-—BUT they cannot butt in.

More likely because of the sudden concern in OK for the decades old school deaths and the same sudden concern for missing Canadian women over the past couple decades. Throw in the weirdo Native American drumming in that teen’s face. Yeah, the teen wasn’t female but it added to the racial element.
