I remember in the late 60’s the overpopulation scare was hot and intense. One thing was different- my high-school teachers presented various views about it and were never alarmist. Even so- as teens we were worried. I can not imagine the fear kids live in now.
I remember those days too. Then we were told that computers were going to take over everything and we’d be eliminated or we be buried in an Ice Age.
Anyone remember Calif falling into the ocean!? lol I took an entire Oceanography class to find out if it was true, omg, that wasn’t an easy A either. Learned my lesson well and never again got taken in by the chicken littles or their cousins the race hustlers. Didn’t need any other mind but my own to see thru Steinem’s rap.
