There was a guy down the road he had one done a number of years ago and got a really bad case of septicemia which almost killed him post op and it did shorten his time on earth as he passed away only a couple years after that.
I had my first one when I was 67. Nurse was really ticked off that I waited so long. They did find three polyps, none cancerous. Next one in three years.
He’s damn near 80. Why bother? He should ask for mild sedation so he can watch... oh say, maybe 10% of normal dosage.
No telling what has crawled up there and infected him besides Marxism.. he has natural immunity by now.
The thought of Commie-Laaa in charge, shades of Al Haig... NOT.

colonoscopy - so they goin in thru the ear?
IIRC, they don’t really put you totally under during colonoscopy procedures. Kind of strange that they’d do this. Not like this is going to burnish Kamala’s stature (look at me! I was ‘acting-president’ for all of 2 hours’!)

I was told by my VA doc they don't do them past 70 for veterans when I asked about a followup after a problem was found after the last one in my 60's.

From my reading colonoscopies cause more damage than they find. In my book there should be a symptom which would point at the need for a colonoscopy before submitting to one. I think a large swath of non-proctologists think the same way. Proctologists get paid for colonoscopies. Of course they recommend them ....daily.
