I feel so sorry for the girlfriend. She will now be a single mother raising the child of a thug who will probably never pay her child support. I know she made a bad choice of a man, but it's a pretty steep price to pay.
what this young mother should do immediately is move away from the area, as far as she can, and live a quiet life completely devoted to caring for her son.....no boyfriends, or shackups....sex ONLY after she is married to a good Christian man....
of course that's no fun but it used to be parents would sacrifice their own personal lives for the benefit of their children...
