Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all the charges against him in his homicide trial on Friday.
In an interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson, he said he wasn't a racist and supported BLM.
Rittenhouse was on trial for killing two people and injuring a third during protests last summer.
Kyle Rittenhouse said he isn't a racist and that he supports the Black Lives Matter movement in a sneak peek of his interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson.
"This case has nothing to do with race. It never had anything to do with race. It had to do with the right to self-defense," Rittenhouse said. "I'm not a racist person. I support the BLM movement. I support peacefully demonstrating."
Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all five charges brought against him on Friday. He was on trial for fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and injuring Gaige Grosskreutz on August 25, 2020, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during civil unrest that erupted after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man.

Poor kid does not recognize brainwashing. He needs to look at the two biggest killers of blacks: Abortion and Black-on-Black violence. Until BLM addresses these issues it is all just racist BS.
I’m not about to bash the kid after what he’s been through. Let’s give him some time to decompress!
He should move against the “white supremist” meme. He should hit it hard. He is doing the right thing here.
His opinion of BLM doesn't change mine.
Kyle doesn’t need to look at what is killing blacks. He needs to go after the slander and liable crowd.
Hopefully he’ll grow to understand that people threatening his life are Marxists and that he just had to kill three of them. There’s many many more who still want him and those even remotely like him dead.
It is one thing to say Black Lives Matter. It is another thing to say that Other Lives Don’t.
He said he supports peacefully demonstrating, as most of us do. He didn’t say he is in lock step with every bullet point (weird pun) of the marxists. Can’t take much away from just one sentence. He’s shown the world that he’s nothing but a good kid anyone would be proud to have as a son. God bless him and his sweet mama.
Me neither. He has been through enough. He is 18. He will learn the truth as he lives life a free man.
Another thread already up
I did a search for this title and it did not match. What thread is the same as I posted?
He said he supports peaceful demonstrations. Unfortunately “peaceful” is not BLM’s way of doing things.

Also, one guy in his group kept calling the rest of the group "libertarians" and saying things like: Libertarians, come over here.
In all of the "protests," from way back in the year 2000, to Occupy , and into 2020, there have been "libertarian" groups in the mix.
So, this is not surprising. And this kid needs to go on and live his life.
Don’t waste your breath, Kyle.
But then, the average white American teenager, will fall for this self imposed guilt trip. In that way, he is typical of his peers.
Exactly, and I'm sure that's his point. You can support the basic premise that Blacks shouldn't be disproportionally targeted by police (not that they necessarily are, but we can all agree they shouldn't be) and that all lives matter. From this tiny snippet of a quote by him, we would be reactionary to assume it means he embraces their tactics and their larger ideology.
I know it's the current default position in FR to be reactionary to every triggering news soundbite that comes across the forum, but that doesn't make for intelligent conversation.
Maybe he’s messing with the media’s head. If not then I’m sorry. I hate the Burn Loot and Murder movement.
Reminds me of Kafka’s The Trial.. the system is in a similar process of harassing people until they are executed.
Rittenhouse should read it and realize that he is saying this under blackmail and that it will gain him no relief.
The Trial, or, in German word for word, The Process, describes the Orwellian situation of the Justice System eventually murdering those it does not like through a slow agonizing process as opposed to the Soviet or Nazi more obvious expedient to the Gulag
