Police officers have identified the person driving the vehicle as Darrell Brooks, released on bail on Friday on a $1,000 bond after being charged with resisting an officer, reckless homicide, and disorderly conduct, according to the Associated Press.Did I read that right? The driver responsible for the injuries and deaths was released on a $1000 bond? Talk about privilege!

The release on $1000 bond was on Friday. The “incident” was yesterday, two days after he was released. He will probably have to post more than $1000 bond after allegedly causing 5 deaths (but no doubt a lot less than Kyle Rittenhouse had to post).
