In cases like this it should be ILLEGAL for any police or LEO to stand down. NO MATTER WHAT. Protect citizens and property COMES BEFORE rank and what should be unlawful orders from above.
It’s been decided by the courts that the police do not have a legal obligation to protect anyone.
Who ordered the police to stand down, resulting in the violence getting out of control? Shouldn’t they be prosecuted?
